*Parents Need to be Proactive with Their Child's Educational
Transitions

Transitions are always challenging for students on the spectrum. And transitioning from elementary school to middle school to high school are no exceptions. We help you and your child plan for the next transition before it happens.

The transition when exiting high school can seem especially overwhelming for students on the spectrum. It is never too early to start planning because preparation for college and beyond requires developing everyday life skills. The age to begin putting together the student's special education transition plan for what lies ahead after high school is age 14 and can be done later. These students' ability to become independent at this turning point in their lives requires more active support.
